Poshya Kakl's idea of an action for CAUTION artists to begin working as a collective

Dear Poshya Poshya Dear,

I hope that the situation in Kurdistan has improved? the news and images that you sent are distressing. You know that there is no coverage of this situation on UK or Irish news...what about JAPAN? USA? CANADA?

Poshya, please can you write your concept for the 'photo action' performance that you suggested for the CAUTION group?

I will attempt it here:

From now we have a deadline of 1st October 2011. Poshya has invited all of us to take part in an action. We should each make an action to a stills camera. Those actions should reach the other CAUTION artists via email by 1st October. The theme of Poshya's idea is that her work was always based on the borders of her identity as a woman living in Kurdistan Iraq AND since the recent bombings of her country's borders her ideas / her art is influenced by this and has now become about her position in the world and the borders of her country. So with this in mind and each of us sharing our identity's through this project CAUTION we will demonstrate what our borders are through live action to photographic camera. We will all have this ready and emailed by 1 Oct 2011.
